Application

Non-ionic surfactant, used to solubilize cerebral GABA receptors. Used in solubilization of proteins and lipids of the scallop gill ciliary membrane and of membranes from breast cancer tumors.

Caution

May become turbid on storage; a clear product can be obtained on heating to 40°C.
