synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 811-824 of human ATG9, conjugated to KLH via a cysteine residue. The corresponding sequence differs by one amino acid in mouse and rat.

General description

Atg9 is a transmembrane autophagy protein that moves between TGN (trans Golgi) and Rab9- and Rab7-positive endosomes. Studies have reported that starvation induces the transport of ATG9 to an endosomal peripheral pool. ATG9 is also known to briefly colocalize with Arp2, an actin-related protein that modulates ATG9 dynamics,,. Anti-ATG9 (C-terminal) recognizes human ATG9.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide

Rabbit anti-ATG9 (C-terminal) antibody has been used for western blotting analysis in Sertoli cells.
