Culture Medium

DMEM + 10% FCS +2mM Glutamine

Subculture Routine

Trypsinize with 0.05% Trypsin/EDTA and inoculate new cultures at 2 x 104 per cm2. Cultures must be incubated in a humidified 5% CO2/95% air incubator at 37oC .

Cell Line Description

Mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) derived from ULK1+/- ULK2+/- Knockout mice. The MEFs that were isolated and cultured were immortalised with SV40 large T-antigen. This cell line can be used as a wild-type control with ULK1 knockout mouse embryonic fibroblasts to study ULK1-dependent processes.
