synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal and amino acids 13-28 of human GPR15 (BOB). This sequence differs from African green monkey and pig-tailed macaque by one amino acid.

Anti-GPR15, N-Terminal antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for immunoblotting at a working dilution of 1:500-1:2000 using human heart tissue lysate, Jurkat (human T cell leukemic) cell lysate, or A549 (human lung alveolar epithelial) cell lysate.

Biochem/physiol Actions

GRP15 (G protein-coupled receptor 15) is a seven menbrane, G-protein-coupled receptor with sequence similarity to chemokine receptors and to chemokine receptor-like orphan receptors. It is expressed in lymphoid tissues and colon. It functions as a co-receptor for simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), strains of HIV-2, and M-tropic HIV-1.
