Description

General description

Amersham ECL Select: Western blotting detection reagent with highly intense signal output, for detection of medium to very low protein levels.

Amersham ECL Select is a high sensitivity reagent for chemiluminescent Western blotting detection. High signal intensity makes Amersham ECL Select suitable for the most demanding Western blotting applications, allowing for detection of minute protein quantities. Its long lasting signals allow for multiple exposures and a convenient time window between experiment and analysis. Signals can be detected with CCD camera or X-ray film.

Amersham ECL Select typically exhibits a dynamic range that is complementary to Amersham ECL Prime, and similar to Amersham ECL Advance.

Application

Western Blotting

Features and Benefits

• Improved sensitivity: Produces a very high signal intensity
• Quantitative measurements: Linear dynamic range allowing for quantitation of medium to very low abundant proteins
