Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of PKD/PKCmu (human, amino acids 893-912) conjugated to KLH.

General description

Protein Kinase D (also known as protein kinase C mu) is a protein that belongs to serine/ threonine (Ser/Thr) kinase family and is related to protein kinase C (PKC) family. It has a crucial role in maintaining Golgi structure and functions and can also act as a molecular switch for promoting cell proliferation and inhibiting apoptosis. Anti-Protein Kinase D antibody can be used in microarray and western blotting (diluted 1:500). Rabbit anti-protein kinase D antibody reacts specifically with PKD/PKC mu (110 kD) of mouse and human.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide

Anti-Protein Kinase D antibody can be used for detecting PKD/PKC mu by using several techniques like immunoprecipitation and immunoblotting.
