Description

General description

G protein-coupled receptor 75 (GPR75) is part of the G-protein-coupled receptor (GPR) family. The 540 amino acid protein possesses seven transmembrane domains. It also has a putative intracellular loop of 92 residues and a large carboxyl-terminal tail of 169 residues. The gene encoding GPR75 is localized on human chromosome 2p16. The protein may be associated with age related macular degeneration (AMD).

Immunogen

Synthetic 19 amino acid peptide from 3rd cytoplasmic domain of human GPR75. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey (100%); Bovine, Pig (95%); Bat, Elephant, Panda, Rabbit, Horse (89%); Mouse, Rat, Xenopus (84%).

Physical form

Solution in phosphate-buffered saline containing less than 0.1% sodium azide.
