General description

Monoclonal Anti-TBL1X (mouse IgG2b isotype) is derived from the hybridoma TX22 produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant fusion protein. Transducin β-like protein 1X-linked (TBL1X) belongs to the tryptophan-aspartic acid (WD)-40 repeat proteins. This protein is found as a subunit in the corepressor silencing mediator for retinoid and thyroid receptors (SMRT) complex along with histone deacetylase 3 protein. The TBL1X gene is mapped on the human chromosome at Xp22.31.

Monoclonal Anti-TBL1X recognizes human, bovine, and dog TBL1X.

Anti-TBL1X antibody, Mouse monoclonal may be used in immunoblotting.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

Store at –20 °C. For continuous use, the product may be stored at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, freeze at -20 °C in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing, or storage in “frost-free” freezers, is not recommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by centrifugation before use. Working dilution samples should be discarded if not used within 12 hours.

Unless otherwise stated in our catalog or other company documentation accompanying the product(s), our products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Transducin β-like protein 1X-linked (TBL1X) gene is universal and is obliterated in late-onset sensorineural deafness which is linked to X-linked syndrome of ocular albinism.
