VU0361737 is an mGluR4-specific positive allosteric modulator (PAM) with greater than 50 fold selectivity over other mGluR subtypes. The EC50 values for human and rat mGlu4 are 240 and 110 nM, respectively, compared to greater than 10 mM for all other mGluRs.
