Phox-I2 is an inhibitor of the NADPH oxidase enzyme complex (NOX2) activation that binds to p67phox and abolishes Rac1 binding. Phox-I2 inhibits NOX2-mediated superoxide production in human and murine neutrophils without detectable toxicity.
