Description

Application

10% BSA Diluent/Blocking Solution minimizes non-specific binding and background. Provides excellent blocking on all membranes and plates. Suitable diluent for most immunossays.

Suitability

Suitable for use as a diluent and blocking buffer in immunoassays such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), Dot-Blot, Western Blot and immunohistochemical (IHC) staining procedures.

Physical form

0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, 0.138 NaCl, 0.00027 KCl, 10% BSA (w/v), pH 7.0 ± 0.2. Solution is 0.2 mm filtered.

Working solution 0.01-5% BSA to be prepared by dilution with PBS.
