LightOx Light-Activated Fluorescent Retinoid Probes

LightOx fluorescent retinoid probes are a family of synthetic analogues of all-trans-retinoic acid (ATRA) that exhibit strong, solvatochromatic fluorescence when excited with UV/violet light. Together, the probes can be utilized to study retinoid behavior using fluorescence microscopy, employed in competitive fluorometric ligand-binding assays, and as a fluorophore in fluorescence spectroscopy.
