Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis

We offer an array of polymer supports for Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS), including ChemMatrix® resins, resins for Fmoc-/tBu- and Boc-/Blz-SPPS, as well as base resins. ChemMatrix® is a proprietary, 100% PEG (polyethylene glycol) based resin from PCAS BioMatrix that is useful for the synthesis of large or hydrophobic peptides and even proteins. Other offerings include Fmoc-based SPPS resins such as Wang, HypoGel®, Rink, and Tentagel S PHB in a variety of mesh sizes and preloaded forms. A selection of benzhydrylamine (BHA) and 4-methylbenzhydrylamine (MBHA) resins are also available for Boc-based SPPS.

Small-loading polymers have a lower surface density and are more suitable for growing long peptides without risking them interacting with one another. High-loading polymers give a good yield but should be used for shorter peptides as they run a higher risk of introducing impurities.
