Stable Isotopes in Metabolomics and Proteomics


Stable Isotope labeled compounds enable specific qualitative and quantitative study of a metabolome. A stable isotope-resolved metabolomics (SIRM) approach helps investigators identify and quantify specific metabolites found in complex matrices, using NMR and mass spectrometry as analytical tools.
