HEPES

HEPES是两性离子生物缓冲液,也是Good's缓冲液之一。HEPES相比碳酸氢盐缓冲液尽管二氧化碳浓度改变,但在维持细胞培养的生理pH方面效果更好1

pH值范围6.8-8.2的HEPES缓冲液可制备成多种比例。

有效PH范围 6.8 - 8.2
反应浓度范围 10mM-1M7-9

HEPES不结合镁,钙或锰(II)离子2.。
HEPES不建议对特定蛋白质应用;它会干扰Folin-Ciocalteu蛋白质分析。双缩脲蛋白质测定不受影响3
HEPES在UV范围内显示低吸光度,但是干扰Lowry蛋白质测定产生假阳性结果。3
被铜(II)氧化5
可以形成自由基,不适合氧化还原研究。4
