使用CRISPR推动嵌合体动物模型发展

嵌合体动物主要用来研究人体药效并构建人类器官。最近业内采用CRISPR取得了一项新突破,成功沉默动物胚胎对人类细胞的免疫响应,使得人类细胞可以在非人类胚胎中发育,从而可在嵌合体猪和牛体内生长出多种人类器官。随着CRISPR工具的成熟应用,在动物体内生长的器官最终将可用于救死扶伤。

近期的一项研究发现,Aducanumab抗体可以有效去除转基因小鼠的β淀粉样蛋白斑块。人们还发现这种抗体可以继续改善小鼠的记忆功能。和之前的许多研究不同,这一项研究向前迈进了一部,其纳入了采用同一种抗体进行的人体药物实验初步发现。人类药物实验的早期发现很具潜力,但是3期FDA实验尚未完成。尽管过去的阿茲海默症3期实验有过失败的案例,但是后续研究证明,通过正确的治疗方法,阿茲海默症能够成为一种可控的疾病。
