Yoon实验室研究的一个主要课题是通过可见光光化学来开发独特的化学转化反应。Yoon实验室已获得了一系列对可见光有响应的过渡金属光催化剂,还发现已知的光化学可以与环加成反应、芳烃氧化反应、胺官能化反应和硫醇-烯反应等进行偶合。该策略的一个重要特征是能够使用合理的配体修饰来调整催化剂的光物理和电化学性质,例如下面的配合物。
