Custom DNA Oligos – UV Quantification

Oligonucleotides are quantified by UV Spectroscopy, i.e., OD at 260 nm. For accuracy, multiple measurements are made using automated UV-visible spectrophotometers equipped with path length corrections. The extinction coefficient is calculated using the industry standard 'nearest-neighbor' method for determining the oligonucleotide quantity (μg and/or μmole).
