What do we do for Bottled Water Analysis?

There are many different regulations and methods for testing bottled water, depending on the type of water and the country or region of the world. In our microbiology product range you will find all the equipment you need to perform your microbiological analysis of bottled water.

From hardware such as manifolds, vacuum pumps and membrane dispensers, through to disposable funnels, membranes, and media, both ready to use and dehydrated, to rapid microbiology solutions to reduce the time to result of your test. Our products offer you convenience partnered with ease of use and security of testing required in modern day microbiology laboratories.

The EZ-Family

The EZ-Product family includes the EZ-Fit™ Manifold, the
EZ-Pak® Dispenser Curve, the EZ-Stream™ Pump, the
EZ-Fluo™ Rapid Detection System and the EZ-Fit™ Filtration Unit.
In combination, these products provide optimal performance and streamline your bioburden analysis workflow.

Culture Media

Our GranuCult™ and ReadyPlate™ and ReadyTube™ culture media are all performance tested according to ISO 11133:2014 and released through ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories. This enables our customers to reduce their incoming quality control tests. But there is even more we do to make compliance easy for you: You can find all information regarding compliance with additional reference standards on the product label. All it takes is one glance. Additionally, for the creation of the new ISO9308-1:2014 (Water quality -- Enumeration of Escherichia coli and coliform bacteria) It was our Chromocult Coliform agar which is  the original and the only medium used to develop and publish this new ISO. Environmental Monitoring

It is not only the water sample which you need to consider but as well the environment in which you are manufacturing and the personnel who are working in that environment. We have all equipment and consumables needed for your environmental analysis:

Analytical Standards and Certified Reference Materials

Vitroids™ and LENTICULE® discs contain viable microorganisms in a certified quantity (ISO 17025), produced under reproducible conditions (ISO Guide 34) with strains obtained from CECT®, NCTC and other collections. The discs consist of bacteria or fungi in a solid water soluble matrix. Microorganisms in this form are stable for at least one year and are in a viable stage (no lag phase or recovery time).

Biochemical Reagents for Identification

A diverse range of biochemical reagents are known for the identification of certain metabolisms and to differentiate between bacteria.
Classical biochemical tests are often used to identify microorganisms; the results are seen by colour change. In most cases, detection is based on the reaction of an enzyme with a certain substrate. Also, methods to detect certain metabolites by chemical reaction and or complex building techniques are used. At the end, a colour change gives a result that leads to greater cognition of the unknown organism.
