修飾の異なる2種類の充填剤(Z-SepとZ-Sep+があります。)

 

ジルコニア(左)とC18(右)の保持メカニズム

水酸基はZ-Sepのジルコニア基とのルイス酸-塩基相互作用により保持

 

C18との疎水性相互作用により保持

各充填剤によるオレインの除去率 25mgの充填剤に1mLのオレイン溶解アセトニトリル溶液(400 mg/ mL )を混合

選ぶ Point!

試料の脂質含有量が 
15% 以上の場合 Z-Sep+
15% 以下の場合 Z-Sep/C18
リン酸系化合物の回収率を
上げたい場合は Z-Sep/C18

Z-Sepは、C18と組み合わせることにより、あるいは、Z-Sep+を単独で用いることにより、全てのオレインを除去可能。同様にモノ-、ジ-、トリグリセリドも除去可能。

   
ジルコニア(ZrO2:ルイス酸)との相対的な保持の強さ
サンプルマトリックスより弱いルイス塩基は保持されずに溶出し、強いルイス塩基(脂質など)は保持されます。

 

Z-Sepの色素除去能

 

Z-Sepには、カーボンにはない色素除去能が認められ、特にPSAにはない色素(緑色、黄色)除去能もある事が示唆されました。
