This antibody is has not been tested for suitability in Immunihistochemistry;, a specific antigen retrieval protocol has not been developed. However, the following general protocol has been utilized for other antibodies to ?- and ?-tubulin classes II and III:
1. Deparaffinize in xylene and rehydrate
2. Apply heat-induced antigen retrieval for 15 min in 10 mmol/L citrate buffer (pH 7).
3. Allow to cool at room temperature for 20 min
4. Rinse tissue sections in PBS
5. Treat with 5% H2O2 for 15 min to block endogenous peroxidase
6. Wash with PBS
7. Incubate with the primary antibody for 60 min at room temperature.
8. Washing with PBS
9. Incubate with secondary antibody at room temperature for 30 min
Note that this is only a general protocol, optimization may be required. In addition, the following publication also provides information on Antigen Retrieval for use with this antibody:

This antibody has not been tested for suitability in Immunofluorescence in human tissues. As provided in the product datasheet, for indirect immunofluorescence, a working antibody concentration of 10-20 µg/ml is recommended using rat pheochromocytoma PC12 cells.
