HPLC Analysis of Tebuconazole Enantiomers on Astec(R) Cellulose DMP in Normal Phase Mode

HPLC Analysis of Tebuconazole Enantiomers on Astec(R) Cellulose DMP in Normal Phase Mode

Description

Analysis Note The fungicide tebuconazole is a chiral molecule, comprising two enantiomers. Enantioselective influences of chiral pesticides and their metabolites on ecosystems is an area of great importance. The possibility that only one enantiomer has the wanted properties and/or the other form an unwanted effect may exist. An analytical separation of the enantiomers is required to perform studies in these areas. The Astec® Cellulose DMP column resolved the enantiomers of tebuconazole under normal phase conditions.
