Membrane filter 0.45 μm pore diameter
Reagent 1:
Dissolve 6 g 2-thiophen-carboxylic hydrazide in 40 ml ethanol.
Reagent 2:
Place 12.5 ml potassium chloride solution, 0.2 mol/l and 3.25 ml hydrochloric acid, 0.2 mol/l in a 50-ml volumetric flask and make up to the mark with water.
Measurement range:
0.50 - 5.00 mg/l V at cell length 10 mm and 405 nm
Sample preparation:
The sample solution must be clear; if not, filter through a folded filter or membrane filter with 0.45 μm pore diameter.

Mix 10.0 ml of sample solution, 0.25 ml reagent 1, 0.30 ml reagent 2 in a test tube. Measure against water at 405 nm.
