Standard Test Method for Barium in Water, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry, Graphite Furnace

These test methods cover the determination of dissolved and total recoverable cadmium in water and wastewater by atomic-absorption spectrophotometry and differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry. Cadmium is a byproduct of zinc production. It was used for a long time as a corrosion-resistant plating on steel, and cadmium compounds are used as red, orange and yellow pigments, to colour glass, and to stabilize plastic.

Analysis Type (Application Method): Atomic absorption direct, Atomic Absorption, chelation-Extraction, Differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry, and by Atomib Absorption, Graphite furnace
