NIOSH 5008 (Issue 2)


This test method uses a HPLC (UV detection) technique to dectect six active constituents of pyrethrum. Use gloves, goggles and other appropriate equipment to prevent eye contact or repeated and prolonged skin contact. This method is S298 in a revised format. Pyrethrum is natural insecticide made from the dried flower heads of Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium and Chrysanthemum coccineum.

Compatible Filters:

37 mm glass fiber filter and cellulose backup pad in filter holder held together with tape or shrinkable band. Forceps to handle filter membrane.
