NIOSH 5036 (Issue 1)

This method uses gas chromatopgraphy and FID techniques to monitor trimellitic anhydride. Trimellitic anhydride chloride is a chemical compound used to produce polyamide-imide plastic. The method was used for analysis of bulk samples and air (field samples). This method will not differentiate between trimellitic anhydride and trimellitic acid. This revises Method P&CAM 322. Boron trifluoride and pyridine are toxic. Work with these substances only in a hood.

Analysis Type (Application Method): GC-FID
