CHLORINATED CAMPHENE

Chlorinated camphene, 67-69% chlorine (or known as Toxaphene) is a broad-spectrum insecticide. This insectiside was one of the most used agricultural chemical globally, especially against pests of cotton. This insectiside is hazardous to nontarget marine and freshwater organisms. This method uses gas chromatography and 63Ni ECD. Prepare samples and standards in well-ventilated hood. This is Method S67 in a revised format.
