BENZIDINE

3,3′-Dichlorobenzidine is an organic compound that is used in the production of diarylide yellow pigments used in the production of printing, but largely discontinued because of concerns about carcinogenicity. This method uses HPLC and UV detection to collect Benzidinium sulfate and 3,3′-dichlorobenzidine dihydrochloride and convert to benzidine and 3,3′-dichlorobenzidi ne, respectively, during sample preparation. Take appropriate precautions to avoid personal and area contamination. This combines and replaces P&CAM 243 and P&CAM 246.

Analysis Type (Application Method): HPLC-UV
