NIOSH 7300 (Issue 2)

ELEMENTS by ICP (Nitric/Perchloric Acid Ashing)

This test method uses inductively coupled argon plasma and atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) techniques to monitor various metals. This is simultaneous elemental analysis, not compound specific. Verify that the types of compounds in the samples are soluble with the ashing procedure selected. his issue updates issues 1 and 2 of Method 7300, which replaced P&CAM 351 for trace elements.

Analysis Type (Application Method): Inductively coupled argon plasma, atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES)
