Sulfuric Acid in Workplace Atmospheres

This method describes the collection and analysis of airborne sulfuric acid using ion chromatography. The method is collected by a known volume of air that drawn through a mixed cellulose ester membrane filter (MCEF). Sulfuric acid has a wide range of end applications including in domestic acidic drain cleaners, as an electrolyte in lead-acid batteries and in various cleaning agents.
