How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Is it fully soluble in water?

This product is a high molecular weight Polyacrylic acid, with a viscosity-average molecular weight (Mv) of approximately 450,000. It is not cross-linked, thus it is water soluble. (Note that cross-linked polyacrylates are typically not water soluble.)
As this material is a high molecular weight polymer, it may take two or more hours to fully dissolve. The specification for viscosity testing requires 4% solution (40 mg/mL) of the polymer in water. This product may be water soluble at higher concentrations, however this has not been determined. Certainly, concentrations of less than 40 mg/mL would be suitable.
