RESUMEN
Due to the therapeutic characteristics of bone marrow (BM)-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), clinical trials are testing the use of autologous or allogeneic MSCs for the treatment of several conditions. These therapies require large numbers of MSCs and numerous studies are attempting to find substances that could enhance the egression of endogenous MSCs from the BM into the periphery and increase their proliferation
