Biochem/physiol Actions

Tetraphenylporphyrin serves as an efficient inhibitor for Mg and its alloys.[1] It is mainly used as a porphyrin moiety, in the preparation of ligand and introduction of metal in porphyrin.[2]

Analysis Note

In addition to the emission maximum at 651 nm, there is a lower maxima at 717 nm.
