Biochem/physiol Actions

Cell-permeable, selective PIP5K1α inhibitor that blocks its downstream PI3K/AKT phosphorylation and the production of PI(4,5)P2 from its PI(4)P precursor.

ISA-2011B is a cell-permeable, selective PIP5K1α inhibitor that blocks its downstream PI3K/AKT phosphorylation and the production of PI(4,5)P2 from its PI(4)P precursor. ISA-2011B effectively inhibits propagation of both measles and nipah viruses in cell culture (40 - 50 µM) with minimal toxicity, suppresses inflammation, cancer growth and invasion in multiple models.
