Application

  • Triethylenetetramine in surface passivation: Research on the photooxidation inhibition of pyrite highlights the role of DTC-TETA (dithiocarbamate-triethylenetetramine) in modifying photogenerated carrier migration pathways, indicating its potential in environmental chemistry and surface science (Shu et al., 2024).

  • Poly(urethane-urea) microcapsules crosslinked by triethylenetetramine: An investigation into poly(urethane-urea) microcapsules revealed that triethylenetetramine as a crosslinker can modulate the release of pesticides, providing insights into controlled release systems in agricultural sciences (Wang et al., 2024).

Features and Benefits

Triethylenetetramine is room or low temperature curing agent.[1]

General description

Triethylenetetramine is used as a chelating agent and as a curing agent for epoxy resins.[2][3]

Questions

  1. Hello, This is a 60% teta solution, I would like to know the 40% material, is it water or another solvent? Thanks in advance, Mohsne

    1 answer
    1. This material is at least 60% Triethylenetetramine. The concentration of other components are not determined on a lot to lot basis. However, historical data indicates the other constituents are primarily Tris(aminoethylamine) (TAEA), Diaminoethylpiperazine (DAEP), and Piperazinoethylethylenediamine (PEEDA). The material has not been diluted with water or other solvent.
