Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped, 5 µm HPLC columns allow the separation of basic, neutral, and metal chelating compounds with simple mobile phases and excellent peak symmetry. They are based on ultra-pure fully porous silica particles (Type B).
These columns offer an outstanding stability from pH 1.5 to 10.5 over a wide temperature range.

Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped, 5 µm LiChroCART^® 150-4.6 is a cartridge column which requires a manuCART^™ cartridge column holder part number 1.51486.0001. The manuCART^™ can be used to hold one cartridge column with or without direct integration of a 4-4 mm guard column. The recommended guard column is Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped (5 µm) LiChroCART^® 4-4 part number 1.50270.0001.
LiChroCART^® cartridge columns mounted with a manuCART^™ cartridge column holder is hand-tight only and have therefore a maximum pressure stability of 250 bar.
For higher pressure stability requirements Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped, 5 µm Hibar^® RT 150-4.6 HPLC columns are available part number 1.51453.0001.

The column dimension of 150 mm length x 4.6 mm I.D. is the optimal choice for the HPLC separation of complex samples.

Item 1.50031.1003 is a Validation kit containing 3 Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped, 5 µm LiChroCART^® 150-4.6 cartridge columns from 3 different base material lots.
