Application

Water, sterile filtered has been used:

  • for cloning and plasmid construction.[1]
  • for restriction digestion of PCR amplicons in polysaccharide A (PSA) restriction method.[2]
  • in RNA isolation.[3][4][5]
  • fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).[6]
  • to dilute the samples of CVF (cervicovaginal fluid) and menstrual extracts for testing specificity through reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification of mRNA. [7]
  • for DNA quantification using quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR).[8]

General description

Molecular biology grade water is sterile filtered and ready to use, free from DNase, RNase, phosphatase, and protease contamination.
