    1. The use of L-Alanine 7-Amido-4-methylcoumarin as a substrate for Aminopeptidase is described in Biochem. J., 211, 567 - 573 (1982). The excitaion and emission maximum of the liberated NH2-Mec is 380 nm and 440 nm respectively.
