General description
Silane-Prep Slides are microscope slides coated with silane (aminoalkysilane) to improve the adhesion of tissues to the slide for immunohistochemistry. The slide includes a "frosted end" for slide/patient identification. It is not tested for use in microarray assays.

Or average relative orientation of the silane molecules? Also, what specific silane is on the surface?
