Application

Furosemide may also be used as a reference standard in determining the concentration of furosemide present in human urine samples using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS).[1] Furosemide may be used pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.[2]

Furosemide may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by fluorimetry,[3] spectrophotometry[4][5] and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).[5][6]
