If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

A throughput HS-SPME-GC-MS method to analyze volatile compounds in Perilla leaves at low extraction temperatures using four different SPME fibers.
The work describes the development of an HS-SPME-GC-MS method to determine 2-chloroethanol as a marker of fumigant ethylene oxide in different kinds of sesame seed samples.

SPME offers efficient sample preparation for analyzing terpene/terpenoid profiles in plant essential oils using automation.
GC Analysis of Terpenes in Cannabis on Equity®-1 after Headspace SPME using 50/30 μm DVB/CAR/PDMS Fiber
In this article, SPME-GC was successfully used to identify many volatile compounds present in the headspace over several spirits.
High performance, reliability, and reproducibility of HS-SPME in combination with GC/MS for the determination of VOCs in water was proven in an interlaboratory trial. The new ISO 17943 using HS-SPME is an improvement on existing official methods for this determination in terms of sensitivity and selectivity.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?
1 answer-
Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Which gauge is larger, 23 or 24?
1 answer-
The gauge designation and actual size of needles follow an inverse relationship. Therefore, a 24 gauge needle is smaller than a 23 gauge needle. Needle gauge sizes also apply to the SPME needle used for sampling. While the original SPME fibers were manufactured with 24 gauge needles, it is highly recommended to use 23 gauge needles for all applications that involve an autosampler. The 23 gauge needles are well-suited for use with the Merlin Microseal septum system and other septum-less seals. However, it is advisable to avoid using 23 gauge needles with standard silicone septa, as they may cause coring of the septum.
