These are very similar products. HARD1000 was developed based on EPA sampling requirements at the time of the initial design. THRD1000, on the other hand, was created at a later time and was classified based on chemistry and stability.

What are the different purposes for the two standards, HARD1000 – LRAC5534 and THRD1000 – LRAC8406, especially for performing hardness by titration at a concentration of 50 mg/L? There is confusion regarding the different names and the Raw Material Lot numbers that seem to be related to the MKBN6366V lot number.
