Beschreibung

General description

Ein starkes, zellpermeables Cyclopamin-Analog (Katalognr. 239803), das speziell den Hedgehog-Signalweg (Hh) hemmt und ähnliche oder niedrigere Toxizität aufweist (IC₅₀ = 20 nM bei Shh-LIGHT2-Assay; 50 nM bei p2^Ptch-/-Zellen; 500 nM bei SmoA1-LIGHT-Zellen). Bindet an SmoA1 und fördert dessen Austritt aus dem endoplasmatischen Retikulum. Unterdrückt die ShhNp-induzierte Signalwegaktivität sowie die SmoA1-induzierte Reporteraktivität. Sensibilisiert menschliche Gliomzellen nachweislich für TRAIL-induzierte Apoptose. Auch als 1-mM-Lösung in DMSO verfügbar (Katalog-Nr. 239807).
