General description
Rekombinantes, in P. pastoris exprimiertes humanes Insulin (Zink). Von pankreatischen β;-Zellen produziertes anaboles Peptidhormon. Steigert die Protein-, Fett- und Glycogensynthese sowie die Substratoxidation in Mitochondrien. Interagiert mit dem Insulinrezeptor in der Membran, um dessen biologische Wirkung zu induzieren.
Preparation Note
Insulin ist im pH-Bereich 4,5–7,0 praktisch unlöslich.
Nach der Rekonstitution im Kühlschrank aufbewahren (bei 4 °;C). Stammlösungen sind bei 4 °;C bis zu 6 Wochen haltbar.
