General description

Centrin-2 wird auch als Caltractin Isoform 1 bezeichnet. Centrin-2 ist an der Organisation, Struktur und Funktion von Mikrotubuli beteiligt und wird für die Zentriolenduplikation und die Spindelbildung benötigt. Als Bestandteil des XPC-Komplexes spielt Centrin-2 auch eine Rolle bei der Regulierung der Zytokinese, der Genomstabilität und der globalen Genom-Nukleotid-Exzisionsreparatur (GG-NER).

~18 kDa beobachtet. In manchen Zelllysaten können uncharakterisierte Banden auftreten.

Application

Der Anti-Centrin-2-Antikörper ist ein hochspezifischer polyklonaler Kaninchen-Antikörper, der auf das Centrin & abzielt und in Western Blotting, ICC, IHC & IP getestet wurde.
