Beschreibung

General description

Interleukin-10 (IL-10), ursprünglich bekannt als Cytokine Synthesis Inhibitory Factor (CSIF), ist ein 18,7 kDa großes Protein mit 160 Aminosäureresten, das eine Sequenzhomologie von über 80 % mit dem Epstein-Barr-Virus-Protein BCRFI aufweist. IL-10 reguliert die Expression von Th1-Zytokinen, Klasse-II-Antigenen des Haupthistokompatibilitätskomplexes und kostimulatorischen Molekülen auf Makrophagen herunter. Außerdem fördert es das Überleben und die Vermehrung der B-Zellen sowie die Antikörperproduktion. Knockout-Studien legen nahe, dass IL-10 ein Immunregulator im Darmtrakt ist.

Analysis Note

Beurteilt mittels Western Blot an rekombinantem Maus-Interleukin-10-Protein.

Western Blot-Analyse: Mit 0,01 µg/ml dieses Antikörpers wurde Interleukin-10 an 10 µg rekombinantem Maus-Interleukin-10-Protein nachgewiesen.
