General description

Mu opioid receptor control peptide for use with the anti-Mu Opioid Receptor Antibodies AB5509 and AB5511. Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of rat mu Opioid receptor comprising residues 384-398.

Application

Antibody blocking studies (AB5511 and AB5509). Antibody should be pre-incubated with the peptide prior to incubation with the tissue/sample. It is suggested to pre-incubate for one hour at room temperature. A 10^-6 to 10^-5molar (M) peptide concentration is suggested to block antibody binding.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

Preparation Note

Store at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
