Die Halbwertszeit von R(+)-SCH-23390 beträgt 25 Minuten nach der Verabreichung. Es bekannt, dass es eine anti-stereotypische und eine kataleptogene Wirkung hat. Es hat auch eine hemmende Wirkung auf die motorische Aktivität.
