Application

Preparation Note
Zubereitung durch 30-minütiges Erhitzen bei 56 °C. Das Serum wird 30 min bei 56 °C erhitzt, um das Komplementsystem für Immunassays zu inaktivieren. Dadurch werden auch andere unbestimmte Hemmstoffe des Zellwachstums in Kultur inaktiviert.

- Unter aseptischen Bedingungen dreifach durch eine 0,1-μm-Membran filtriert.

After thawing, when stored refrigerated, fetal bovine serum is stable for approximately 1-2 weeks for use in cell culture. Serum intended for use with more robust cell lines, in analytical assays, or for blocking applications, may be stable up to 30 days when stored refrigerated and assuming no contamination has occurred.
