General description
Application
- als Bestandteil des modifizierten Eagle‘s Minimum Essential Medium für die In-vitro-Kultivierung von spermatogenen Zellen und als Bestandteil des Kryoprotektivums, das zur Konservierung dieser Keimzellen verwendet wird
- als Bestandteil von modifiziertem Ham‘s F-10 für die Inkubation von Geißzygoten zur Herstellung von haploiden männlichen hemizygoten Empfängern
- bei der Herstellung der 90%igen Percoll-Lösung, die bei der Percoll-Gradienten-Methode zur Spermiengewinnung und -aufbereitung verwendet wird
